Great action shot of Canadian National 2-8-2 Mikado #3595 with a long string of freight cars near Pickering, Ontario, Canada. The loco was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in August of 1924 (serial #65658) and proved a faithful member of the roster until being scrapped in August of 1955 after nearly 31 years of service. Specs - 63" drivers, 188.5 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 314,800 lb, tractive effort of 55,621 lb. Al Paterson photo
