Description:
Built by Baldwin in 1929 for the Grand Truck Western as their 8376, the loco was retired in 1958 but purchased by Northwestern Steel and Wire to serve them until 1980. Although no relation to Illinois Central, it does look the part sitting next to the Amboy depot.

Description:
Another view of the 1929 Baldwin switcher originally built for the Grand Trunk Western and later served the Northwestern Steel and Wire Company. Now it is a static display next to the Illinois Central Amboy depot in an area that once contained a large yard for the IC Northern Division.
